Privacy Policy

FitTrack Coach ("the app") is a fitness- and nutrition-coaching app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what control you have over it. The short version: your data is used only to run the app for you — we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed below.

Data we collect

• Account data — email address, display name, and password (stored only as a salted hash — we cannot read it).
• Profile data you enter — age, gender, height, weight, target weight, goal, activity level, training experience, training location, and training days per week. These drive the coaching calculations (calorie targets, safe-rate checks, workout templates).
• Fitness & nutrition logs you enter — food and meal logs, weigh-ins, body measurements, workout sessions and sets, daily-habit completions, and your active diet program.
• Subscription status — your plan (free/Pro), how it was obtained (subscription, lifetime, or promo code), and — if you purchased through our payment provider — Paddle customer and subscription identifiers. We never receive or store your card details.
• Technical data — IP addresses appear in short-lived server logs (used for rate limiting and abuse prevention), and the app stores authentication tokens on your device to keep you signed in.

Advertising (free plan only)

The free plan shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID) and use them as described in Google's privacy policy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. Pro users see no ads and no ad SDK requests are made for them.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Paddle (paddle.com) as merchant of record, on a secure web checkout outside the app. Paddle handles your payment details under Paddle's privacy policy; we only receive confirmation of your subscription status.

How we use your data

• To provide the service: personalised calorie/macro targets, workout and meal plans, progress charts, and adaptive weekly coaching.
• To send transactional email only — password-reset codes and account-related messages. No marketing email.
• We do not sell your data, use third-party analytics SDKs, or share your data for advertising purposes beyond the AdMob banners described above.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in our database on servers we operate, and is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords are stored as salted hashes and sign-in session tokens are stored hashed.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time — see Delete my account. Deletion is permanent and covers your profile, logs, and subscription records (except minimal records our payment provider must retain for tax/accounting law).

Children

FitTrack Coach is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

FitTrack Coach provides general fitness and nutrition information for educational purposes. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified professional before starting a diet or exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition.
